Andrew (“Andy”) Brown

Andrew Brown is Managing Director of Educational Infrastructure.

Andy brings extensive experience in real estate investment and university partnerships, having delivered thousands of student housing beds and major research facilities across California’s higher education systems. His work focuses on creating structures that leverage the unique strengths of public institutions while introducing efficiencies from private practice, guided by a deep understanding of the challenges facing higher education.

By structuring partnerships that balance these forces, he has advanced initiatives that deliver greater economic benefit than either approach alone, showing that long-term performance is shaped more by the efficiency of the enterprise than by a single component. This work has helped universities expand capacity, sustain affordability, and build long-term resilience.

Currently, Andy is focused on providing affordable student housing to the critically underserved California Community College system, helping expand access to higher education across the state.
